Hearabouts...
Tales from the Wirral fundraising Branch
Welcome to Wirral Branch
Welcome to Hearabouts, the informal online presence of the Wirral fundraising branch of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. We are a friendly group who raise money and awareness for Hearing Dogs, hopefully enjoying our activities at the same time.
Here you can see what we have been up to recently and what we have planned. We would love to hear from you. If you would like to know how to help Hearing Dogs then please get in touch.
Wirral is a little special in Hearing Dog terms; we have a higher concentration of dogs here than anywhere else in the country, there being no fewer than seven dogs on the Wirral. So while you are out and about keep your eyes peeled for the distinctive burgundy coat and should you stop to say hello, please speak clearly!
Signing Choir
The wonderfully moving Dee Sign Choir return to the Cherry Tree Shopping centre in Wallasey on 27th November 2010.
They will be performing from approximately 10.30 onwards. If you haven't seen a silent choir signing to music you will be astonished. Do come see them.
